I'm sorry, but for $9 bucks, I expect more than this! I don't give a damn if it's the Ritz.
I expect first rate soup. Usually I'd get soup AND a sandwich for that.

What better way to enjoy the last days of autumn sunshine than to go hit the driving range for a while.
It was the first time I've swung a club since my shoulder operations in 2005, I think!Comments [4]
If you thought I had just gone off the deep end, you were right! I went to a Pumpkin Carving Party! It really was a whole lot of fun. Much more fun than doing this solo.
There was a delightful spread of snacks and goodies. And plenty of beer and wine. (sorry, no pics of that). The only thing missing was the pumpkin beer!Comments [0]
I often get chastised with being a mamma's boy. I don't deny I love my mother as only a good Italian son could. But I try to pull my weight around the house at least, not take advantage of living at home as my brothers would argue.
Here's an excerpt of what I mean The kitchen is her domain. No matter how hard I try, she won't let me help. I can see how this would be really adorable from an outsider's perspective. So, the question remains, mamma's boy? You be the judge!Comments [3]
It's 8:00 PM Saturday night on Oct.10. I am going to do it this time. They say the third time is the charm and so I shall live up to the old adage.
These are pictures of my last sip and swallow of my favorite soda, Diet Mountain Dew. I have been addicted to this stuff for well over three years now, and I have made the decision to give it up once and for all. Not just DMD but all soda. The big problem of course is the caffeine addiction, but I plan to ween myself off of that slowly and surely. Water will become my beverage of choice. So I'm on a 30-day plan. I know I can do 30 days of anything. So after 30, I'll do 30 more until I break the habit. This is not meant to be a long, drawn out post. So wish me luck!Comments [1]
It's "BIG" all over again (referring to the movie "Big" with Tom Hanks)! It seems like this idea would have taken root way before now given its success from that film. But alas, who has time for fun? Until you incorporate it into your daily routine, that is!

We finally made it to San Diego! Stayed at the Navy Lodge. Prime time coastal property that belongs to the Navy. I love these boats. Manny is stationed here and who knows, maybe I will too one day!
